Fabric dyeing in plastic bags workshop today

Had five members of the local branch of the Irish Patchwork Society and one stray member from the Western Branch  over today to do a  workshop. Exhausted but in a good way, had a ball. Lots of tea and a great lunch.
Bust little bees measuring out dyes into plastic bags.

Using 18 plastic bags, three procion dyes and 36 pieces of fabric.

Time for lunch and the sun made an appearance to arm us up, feels like Spring.

Time for a little play with left over dyes and batik, can't wait to see the finished results at the Branch Meeting next week. All the clean up is nearly done, so time to relax with a glass of vino, well deserved even if I do say so myself.
